The Herm Sprenger Copper Plus Double-Jointed Eggbutt Snaffle Bit has an anatomically-shaped 16mm Copper Plus mouthpiece with a rotated center link and 70mm Copper Plus rings. The shaped mouthpiece encourages the horse to accept contact, while the link lies smoothly across the tongue to allow for independent left and right communication from the rider. Copper Plus is an alloy developed specifically for bits to provide greater strength than copper alone, but still encourage salivation to help create a soft mouth.
